The fruit hardness tester is a new kind of fruit hardness tester. The use of fruit hardness tester can firstly quantify the fruit hardness, and can more scientifically assess the maturity of the fruit, which helps to select the standard uniform fruit raw materials, and at the time of harvesting. The hardness of the fruit is measured by a fruit hardness meter, and the storage of the fruit at harvest can also be evaluated to guide the scientific storage of the fruit.
In the past, the traditional method for judging fruit maturity was to judge whether it was ripe by color change. Generally speaking, the fruit is green before it matures, and the green color diminishes when it matures. The background color and facial color gradually appear, so it can be based on the variety inherent to a certain extent. The degree of color appearance is used as a sign of harvesting. However, judging fruit ripeness by color is actually not very scientific, and it is especially difficult to quantify, so it is difficult to form a standard for assessing its maturity. In addition, the maturity of the fruit can be based on the content of chemical substances in the fruit. For example, the content of certain chemical substances such as starch, sugar, and acid in the berry and the ratio of sugar to acid in the fruit are related to the maturity. The time period for harvesting can be determined by measuring the content of these chemical substances, but this approach not only destroys the integrity of the fruit, but also it is very troublesome, and thus cannot be batch-oriented operation. The hardness of the fruit is different, and the hardness of the fruit will decrease with the increase of the fruit maturity. Using the fruit hardness meter to determine, the fruit ripeness can be identified by the quantitative determination results. Therefore, the fruit hardness tester will assess the maturity of the fruit in a more scientific and rational manner.
