GTT Receives Order for Hyundai Heavy Industries LNG Ship Film Enclosure System
France's GTT has recently received an order for the Mark III Flex film containment system, which will provide Mark III Flex film to two new LNG ships built by the Korean shipowner SK Shipping Company and delivered in 2019 by Hyundai Heavy Industries (ship hangar). Enclosure system.
     The two LNG vessels will be designed in accordance with the new IGC standard published in 2016, using GTT's Mark III Flex film containment system. Thanks to its high thermal insulation, the Mark III Flex film enclosure is particularly suitable for installation on KNG's LNG vessels equipped with a high-efficiency XDF propulsion system (purchased from the product library).
     Since 2011, the Mark III Flex film containment system has been provided by more than 60 LNG ship phases worldwide, of which 34 LNG ships equipped with this system are already in operation.
