Jiujiang Development Zone builds the largest auto parts base in the central region
Jiujiang Development Zone's Automobile Industrial Park is one of the eight key investment platforms in the area, and it has been actively implementing a strategy focused on opening up to drive large-scale industrial growth. The park leverages the presence of Jiujiang Changhe Suzuki Motors and Suzuki Engines to foster the development of the automotive industry, with a strong emphasis on both domestic and international markets. By attracting auto parts companies and building industrial clusters, the park aims to establish itself as the largest auto parts production base in the central region.
Located in the southwest part of Jiujiang City, the automobile industrial park benefits from its strategic location and covers a planned area of 5 square kilometers. To ensure high standards, the Jiujiang Development Zone commissioned Tongji University’s School of Architecture to develop a detailed control plan for the park. After nearly two years of construction, the park has already attracted 26 projects, including 16 auto parts companies with a total investment of 1.6 billion yuan. Changhe Suzuki, which has invested over 2 billion yuan, stands out as a leading enterprise in the park. Its 100,000-vehicle production line and 150,000-engine project are fully operational.
Currently, several major projects are under construction in the park, including Xinhuitong, St. Star, Huateng Industry and Trade, Jinsui Auto Parts, Qiyuan Electromechanical, and Huaxing Company. These developments highlight the growing momentum of the automobile industry in the region, supported by continuous investment and infrastructure improvements.
