SCARA is a robot arm used for assembly operations, It has 3 rotary joints and is best suited for flat positioning and vertical assembly operations. SCARA systems are used extensively to assemble printed circuit boards and electronic components. Another feature of SCARA is its series of two-bar structure, similar to the human arm, can be extended into the limited space and then back to work, suitable for moving and picking up objects, such as integrated circuit boards.
