This is from Steve Redick: I made it to a fire in Maywood on Wednesday, August 17th, 2016. It turned into a third alarm, mainly due to the need for more manpower and relief. The structure was a large, apparently vacant frame house. From what I could see, there was a lot of exterior fire, and it might have spread to a small one-story commercial building in Sector 2. When I first arrived, there were a lot of firefighters moving around, working hard to get things under control.
