Kahl, who had served as the association’s president for nearly two years, allegedly took the money in three separate instances this month. The current president, Scott Klaassens, who was just appointed to the role on Tuesday, confirmed the details. Kahl has since returned the full amount and resigned from his position. Although the association reported the incident to local police, no charges have been filed at this time.
