Chicago Still & Box, 3/6/16

This is from Steve Redick:

On Monday, March 7th, 2016, I responded to a fire at 5336 W. Leland Avenue in a neighborhood that's usually quiet but often congested. According to radio reports, it was a basement fire that had spread to all floors of a frame structure. Engine 94 did an excellent job by finding a good access point in the rear of the building. From the alley, they stretched a 4-inch supply line across the block, which helped make the operation much more efficient. From where I was, it looked like everything went smoothly. I managed to capture some great shots of the roof operations as flames were coming out through the back of the building. The fire was quickly brought under control with handlines.
