To reduce the loss of gold, we should start with five aspects:
1. Precious metal materials must be carefully looked after, and mixing and feeding operations should be cautious. Gold should not allow mud and other materials strewn on the floor, accidentally spilled must be carefully swept up, you can wipe the paper, can also be used borax spilled cleaning. In order to facilitate cleaning, the ground of the alchemy site should be smooth.
2. There is no garbage in the alchemy site. All the dust, strips, mops, brushes, etc., as well as the work clothes, gloves, shoes and hats worn by the workers, must eventually be burned to recover gold and silver. All kinds of sewage should also be fully precipitated before it can be discharged.
3. Care must be taken when feeding the furnace. It is necessary to stop the oil and stop the oil. When using smelting, avoid dropping the material outside the raft. When using the converter to smelt, it is necessary to prevent the charge from sticking to the mouth of the furnace. After adding the material, a layer of borax is sprayed to prevent the charge from being taken away by the furnace gas.
4. The converter slag must be divided into two stages, and the slag is returned to the furnace. Before each feeding, the furnace mouth must be cleaned first, and the metal and slag remaining on the furnace mouth when the last furnace is poured metal is completely removed and added to the furnace.
5. All slag, matte, waste crucible, the refractory material must be carefully waste recycling. The dust collected by the dust collecting device is recovered in time and returned to the furnace for treatment.
In addition to the above, alchemy sites must have strict discipline and all non-operators are not allowed to enter. Operators must change clothes as they enter or leave the workplace. This is done for security reasons, but also to reduce artificial mechanical damage. In addition, the alchemy workshop must establish strict handover procedures, and all gold-containing materials in and out, including samples, must be strictly recorded, carefully weighed, so that the entry and exit are consistent. Losses in smelting should also be recorded.
