In a significant milestone for the tire industry, Aeolus Tyre Co., Ltd. made history by filing the first-ever tire patent. This was a design patent for a tire model named "G-26," with the patent number ZL03336271.8 and certificate number 385713. The patent officially became effective on August 4, 2004. The innovation came after the company successfully developed the G-26/L-3 wide-base construction machine tire, featuring a unique mixed-pattern design. On September 5, 2003, they submitted the application to the State Intellectual Property Office, using the reference number "03336271.8." The patent was eventually approved, marking a breakthrough in tire design. This tire was the result of extensive research and collaboration with technical experts who gathered feedback from users and studied global tire design trends. The outcome was a visually striking pattern that not only looked good but also performed exceptionally well. The central part of the tread featured large blocks, enhancing wear and impact resistance. Meanwhile, the edges incorporated a “Y”-shaped groove, improving heat dissipation and overall performance. The tire excelled in challenging conditions, such as muddy or soft terrain, offering excellent mud discharge and anti-slip properties. It significantly improved the tire’s self-cleaning ability, passability, and handling stability. Since its launch, demand for the product has been high, leading to a production volume of approximately 3,000 sets in 2003, generating over RMB 12 million in revenue and more than RMB 3 million in profit. By the end of 2003, an additional model was introduced, increasing the number of molds from four to 29. As of June 2004, the company had produced over 10,800 units, achieving a production value of more than 40 million yuan. Today, the G-26 pattern has been expanded to include models such as 17.5-25 and 20.5-25, bringing the total number of specifications to over ten varieties. This achievement highlights Aeolus Tyre's commitment to innovation and excellence in tire design.
