Jiujiang Development Zone builds the largest auto parts base in the central region
Jiujiang Development Zone's Automotive Industrial Park stands as one of the eight key investment platforms in the area, actively promoting industrial growth through open policies. Leveraging the presence of Jiujiang Changhe Suzuki Motors and Suzuki Engines, the park is focused on expanding both domestic and international markets. By attracting auto parts manufacturers and fostering industrial clusters, it aims to become the largest automotive components production base in the central region.
Located in the southwest part of Jiujiang City, the park benefits from strategic geographical advantages and covers a planned area of 5 square kilometers. To ensure high standards, the Jiujiang Development Zone has engaged Tongji University’s School of Architecture to develop a detailed control plan for the park. After nearly two years of development, the park has already attracted 26 projects, including 16 auto parts companies with a total investment of 1.6 billion yuan. Among them, Changhe Suzuki, which has invested over 2 billion yuan, has emerged as a leading company in the park. Its 100,000-unit car production line and 150,000-engine capacity project are now fully operational.
Currently, several major projects are under construction, including Xinhuitong, St.Star, Huateng Industry and Trade, Jinsui Auto Parts, Qiyuan Electromechanical, and Huaxing Company. These developments are expected to further strengthen the park's position as a key automotive manufacturing hub in the region. With continued investment and strategic planning, the Jiujiang Automotive Industrial Park is well on its way to becoming a major player in China's automotive industry.
