In September, Roberts Park purchased this Ford F-350/Wheeled Coach to serve as their second spare ambulance. It’s marked as 3R2 since their current spare is 3R (a 2008 Ford F-450/Osage, previously known as 308 and later 31). This ambulance originated from Virginia and was acquired to act as a backup unit. It had just 32,000 miles on it when it was bought.
Here’s a quick note about another vehicle: Roberts Park recently sent Ambulance 32 to Osage for a rechassis job. The 2009 Ford E-450/Osage received a brand-new chassis, which happens to be a 2013 or 2014 Ford E-450 paired with a 2009 Osage body. Interestingly, the new chassis doesn’t have the RP logos on the doors yet; I’m told they’ll be added soon. Below is a comparison shot of the old chassis next to the updated one.
