Worker trapped in trench in Niles 7-19-14 (pt 3)

This report comes from Steve Redick.

There was a technical rescue (TRT) box alarm last night in the 8500 block of N Olcott. From what I could gather, a construction worker became trapped after a trench collapse near a residential property. The Niles Fire Department responded with their aerial unit, which had a block or hoist system attached—but it wasn’t in use at the time I arrived. I could see some shoring already in place, and a "sewer sucker" was actively being used to remove debris. The victim was successfully rescued approximately 90 minutes into the incident and appeared to be in good condition. I managed to capture several good rig shots as well.
