Autodesk Inks Agreement with Turkey’s Ministry of Education

Istanbul – (Business Wire) – Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK), a global leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software, has entered into a four-year partnership with Turkey’s Ministry of National Education to enhance the country’s vocational and technical education system. This landmark agreement will provide over 5,000 schools and 1.6 million students across Turkey with access to Autodesk’s industry-leading software tools.

The agreement was officially signed in Ankara by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Omer Acikgoz, General Director of Vocational and Technical Education, and George Abraham, Head of Emerging Markets Education at Autodesk. The initiative is designed to prepare the next generation of engineers, architects, designers, and digital artists by equipping them with cutting-edge technology. Students will gain hands-on experience with powerful software like AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, and Maya. In addition, Autodesk will offer training programs for teachers and support student design competitions to foster innovation and creativity.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Omer Acikgoz emphasized, “Our main objective is to ensure that our vocational students are equipped with the most advanced skills needed in both local and global job markets. By collaborating closely with industry leaders like Autodesk, we can bridge the gap between education and real-world applications. The technologies provided by Autodesk will significantly elevate the quality of vocational training in Turkey.”
