Autodesk Inks Agreement with Turkey’s Ministry of Education

ISTANBUL–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK) has entered into a four-year partnership with Turkey’s Ministry of National Education to enhance the country’s vocational and technical education system. This nationwide initiative will provide over 5,000 schools and 1.6 million students with access to Autodesk's high-quality design and engineering software. As a global leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment solutions, Autodesk is committed to empowering future professionals with cutting-edge tools.

The agreement was officially signed in Ankara by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Omer Acikgoz, General Director of Vocational and Technical Education, and George Abraham, Head of Emerging Markets Education at Autodesk. The collaboration aims to develop the next generation of engineers, architects, designers, and digital artists by introducing them to advanced technologies. Students will gain access to industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, and Maya. Additionally, Autodesk will offer training programs for educators and support student design competitions to foster creativity and innovation.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Omer Acikgoz stated, “Our main objective is to equip our vocational students with the most relevant skills demanded by both local and global job markets. By integrating industry-leading technology like that provided by Autodesk, we are significantly enhancing the quality of our educational offerings.”
