Garage fire in Oak Park, 10-6-15

Hey everyone, This just came in from Josh Boyajian. There was a garage fire earlier today in Oak Park at 1113 South Taylor. Unfortunately, I didn't get there in time to see anything particularly exciting, but I managed to snap some photos of their frontline engines, 602 and 603, their brand-new tower ladder, 631, and their shiny new buggy, 620. I've attached some images below so you can check them out. These shots give a pretty good look at the equipment they have on hand. It's always interesting to see how these departments keep upgrading their fleet. Here’s the first one—a shot of their command car at the scene. You can tell it’s a well-maintained vehicle, ready for action at a moment’s notice. ![Oak Park FD Command Car](link-to-photo) Next up is one of their fire engines. As you can see, it’s clean and ready to roll. These engines are crucial for getting water to where it needs to be as quickly as possible. ![Oak Park FD Fire Engine](link-to-photo) Then there’s their fire truck. This one looks especially impressive with its bright red paint job and all the tools mounted on the sides. It’s a workhorse that can handle everything from small fires to larger incidents. ![Oak Park FD Fire Truck](link-to-photo) And here’s another angle of their command car. It’s clear they take pride in their vehicles, and this one is no exception. ![Another View of the Command Car](link-to-photo) Finally, here’s another shot of their fire engine. The detail work on these vehicles is top-notch, and it’s easy to see why they’re such a vital part of any firefighting operation. ![Another Fire Engine Shot](link-to-photo) It’s always great to see how these departments equip themselves for the job. Let me know if you’ve got any questions about the gear or the incident itself. Take care, [Your Name]
