House fire in Roselle, 2-9-15

I just got back from covering a pretty intense house fire in Roselle. The incident happened earlier today, and by the time we arrived, it had already been burning for quite some time—probably close to an hour after the initial alarm went out. From what I could see when we got there, the structure was completely engulfed in flames at one point, making it a challenging situation for the firefighters on the scene. Here are a few shots I managed to capture during my visit: ![Smoke billowing from the house fire](#) *Photo Credit: Code Photography* In another shot, you can see the fire chief surveying the damage: ![Fire chief assessing the situation](#) *Photo Credit: Code Photography* The firefighters worked tirelessly to bring the blaze under control, even venturing up onto the roof for overhaul operations: ![Firefighters on the roof post-fire](#) *Photo Credit: Code Photography* And of course, no fire scene is complete without the impressive equipment they use, like this E-ONE fire engine: ![E-ONE fire engine at the scene](#) *Photo Credit: Code Photography* Finally, here’s a candid moment showing one of the brave firefighters in action: ![Firefighter working the scene](#) *Photo Credit: Code Photography* For more images and details, check out the full gallery [here](http://www.codephotography.net/Scenes/Roselle-/House-Fire-292015/). It’s always tough to see homes go up in flames, but I’m grateful for the hard work of the first responders who put their lives on the line to protect others. Let me know if you have any questions or need anything else! Stay safe out there.
